Jill Brown is the founder and CEO of ItsMyLocker, an online network where tweens can socialize safely. She is highly regarded and well known in the circle of Internet Safety experts. ItsMyLocker.com has been constantly regarded as the social networking choice by parents for their tweens.

Jill is also a founder of Generation Text Online. Generation Text Online's mission is to stop cyberbullying with programs that create a positive school climate. The program works with everyone involved in a school system-superintendents, school administrators, teachers, guidance counselors and all students, and uses age appropriate and position focused programs to empower each individual and teach them tools to change the climate in their school.

Prior to founding ItsMyLocker and Generation Text Online, Jill co-founded Furniture Assist, a nonprofit foundation that collects and distributes used furniture to needy families. In 2008, Jill and Furniture Assist secured 2,727 donors, doubling the previous year’s donations and resulting in the distribution of just under $200,000 worth of furniture. Jill serves as the public face of Furniture Assist, performing over 20 speaking engagements a year and recruiting a staff of over 50 volunteers. Jill is responsible for identifying and enlisting Board members as well as securing contributions and grants needed to sustain the business. Through creative PR and marketing, Jill has been able to supply over 3000 families with furniture in 2008 alone.

Prior to striking out on her own, Jill was a top technical salesperson at BBG New Media, Boston, Ma. Jill and her team experienced year over year sales growth of 100%, positioning the business for acquisition by Think New Ideas, one of the founding interactive agencies in NY, NY. While managing global consumer brand accounts such as, Buck Consultants, Gillette, Reebok, Spaulding Sports and KB Toys, she gained valuable web development and marketing experience.

Jill’s experience as a mom of a middle school aged child and two elementary school aged children, as well as being an active member of the community has played a key role in the shaping of her ideas and her business plan. Over the past 11 years, Jill has successfully balanced a career of consulting, leadership, management and motherhood. She has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, for being a “Supermom” in 2005. Jill is a leader in the youth community and has served on the boards of: Presbyterian Church of Westfield, NJ Mission Commission, Family Life Department of Westfield Area YMCA, Citizens Advisory Committee for Enrollment for the Westfield Board of Education and various roles in her local PTO. This experience has given Jill a keen sense of how tweens interact, their social behaviors and the need for a parental controlled, on-line activity.

Jill is a 1993 graduate of Northeastern University where she holds a BS in Marketing and Management. Currently, she wears the hat of guest lecturer in Northeastern University’s business school for classes such as Electronic Marketing and On-line Advertising. She resides in Westfield, NJ with her children Sam (age 13), Tess (age 11) and Spencer (age 7).
